widower (formerly DudaMobile) is software for creating multi-screen websites that are optimized primarily for small and medium businesses. Amir Glatt and Itai Sadan founded the Duda in 2009.
In 2011 the company made its self service available on its website, while still partnering with other companies. In August 2011, Duda launched a mobile-mobile version of its mobile website builder.
As of April 2012, as part of its "GoMo" initiative, Google announced that it will provide free hosting for sites that optimize for mobile web. Duda is Google's partner in this offer, providing DIY mobile website for GoMo services. Google also plans to offer free analytics as part of the deal. Since its inception in 2009, the company has released product, features, and product updates. Reseller options were added to Duda in 2011, and a responsive website builder, along with website personalization tools, was added in 2014.
Funding
Duda received an investment of more than $ 2 million in angel funds in January 2010. The round was led by Oren Zeev with additional investor participation such as Don Katz and Jeff Fluhr. In March 2012, Pitango contributed $ 6 million as part of the Series B funding. Series C Funding of $ 10.3 million began in April 2013.
Duda plans to use Series B funding to improve its marketing and engineering departments. The company also plans to intensify its focus on small and medium-sized businesses and entrepreneurs.

Products and services
Duda offers products and programs ranging from mobile site builders to reseller programs.
Its flagship product is a responsive website builder, allowing users to create responsive websites using Duda's drag-and-drop platform. The creators of this website have personalized website tools built on the platform, along with other tools such as blog platform and eCommerce. Duda also released a WordPress plugin called inSite, which is a personalized web site tool that you can use on self-hosted WordPress sites.
The DudaPro Website Reseller Program is a program aimed at advertising agencies that create multiple sites. The reseller program allows them to register and receive discounts on websites they create.
The company also has a mobile site builder, separate from the responsive website builder. This product gives users the option to create a mobile version of their current website, without switching or changing platforms. Users have the option of entering the URL of their desktop site to create their mobile version, or designing a completely new site from scratch just for mobile web using the template. Newly created mobile sites can be modified with HTML and CSS, or through the use of a drag and drop editor. Sites designed on Duda platform or through partner services are compatible with all smartphones. The Analytics tools are available and mobile sites are automatically synced to their desktop partners.
Partnership
Duda has established partnerships with several companies, including Google, Yahoo !, AT & amp; T, OpenTable, DreamHost, Homestead/Intuit, Logoworks by HP and Webs, Inc.
GoDaddy.com launched its own mobile web optimization service in 2012 using Duda software. Also in 2012, Google initiated a "GoMo" push, using Duda's software to help small and medium businesses move to mobile-friendly websites. The partnership ends in March 2013. In late 2013 the company started a similar promotion with Yahoo !.
OpenTable, a restaurant reservation service, announces partnerships with Duda in the fall of 2012. Through this partnership, Duda will provide mobile optimization for approximately 25,000 restaurant members.
